Recap: 2016 NATA Convention

On June 22-25, the BOC exhibited at the 67th NATA Clinical Symposia & AT Expo in Baltimore. The BOC staff and board members were there to answer questions and connect with convention attendees at the BOC booth. On June 24th, the BOC Board of Directors and staff hosted a reception to honor BOC volunteers and to present the Dan Libera Service Awards. The BOC Dan Libera Service Award was established in 1995 to recognize individuals who have shown dedication to the mission of the BOC. Longstanding contributions to the BOC's programs are the primary criteria for the award. Congratulations to the 2016 Dan Libera Award honorees:

  • Paul Bruning
  • Mark Doughty
  • Gail Samdperil
  • Ericka Zimmerman

In addition, we awarded the first BOC Paul Grace Scholarship in honor of past Executive Director Paul Grace. Paul was instrumental in the BOC certification program’s achieving national accreditation.
