BOC ANNOUNCES NEW CORPORATE EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 19, 2011 – Omaha, NE – Today, the Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) formally announces Ed Christman, AT Ret. as its newest Corporate Educational Director. Christman’s term will begin January 1, 2013, and he will replace outgoing Corporate Educational Director Paul DeMartinis.
Christman, resides in Olathe, Kansas and works as Vice-President of Marketing for Cramer Products, Inc. He was a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) for over 25 years and started his business career with Bike Athletic Company. Christman received a master of education in sports medicine at Miami University in 1972 and his Bachelor of Science in Education at Ohio University in 1969. Christman served as a board member of the Coalition of Americans to Protect Sports (CAPS).
In response to this position, Christman said: “I’m very pleased to accept a position on the Board of Directors of the BOC and look forward to using my background in business and the sports medicine field to assist the mission of the BOC in protecting the health and safety of athletes at all levels.”
