Standards for BOC Approved Providers: Addition of Orthopedic Specialty Domains

An update was made to the “Standards for BOC Approved Providers” that reflects domains of the continuing certification maintenance requirements for the new Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (BCS-O) credential. A list of orthopedic specialty specific domains has been incorporated into Standard II.

Be sure your orthopedic programs are eligible by attaching appropriate domains to the Program Directory listings. BCS-O holders are required to complete 10 hours of orthopedic specialty continuing education units to maintain this certification.
