BOC Approved Providers can help Athletic Trainers (ATs) easily report continuing education units (CEUs) with one simple step: Ensuring their existing and new BOC Program Directory listings match the certificate of attendance.
BOC Program Directory
The BOC Program Directory is a continuing education (CE) search tool on the BOC website marketed directly to ATs. The “Standards for BOC Approved Providers” require BOC Approved Providers to enter CE programs into the program directory at least 10 calendar days prior to the event.
Certificate of Attendance
BOC Approved Providers award a certificate of attendance to ATs after they complete their CE program. ATs use the certificate to enter the CE information into their BOC CE reporting form.
To assist ATs in quickly finding their CE programs, the BOC offers a quick reference list in the CE reporting form generated from information provided in the program directory. When the program directory listing does not match the certificate of attendance, it can create confusion and frustration for an AT when reporting their CE.
